I just bought a real nice 87 5.0 to put a 347 into, cost me 1800 bucks. A friend of mine just bought a 90 4 cylinder that he has a 460 already built for, cost him 700 bucks. I don't know which way is going to be cheaper, both of us need new transmission and rearends etc to do what we want at the strip. I think it's a toss up.

Put a nice set of flowmasters and an Xpipe on a 4cyl. It'll be an adventure!
