Default Body Work Pics & Info

Ok here is the pic of the one side pretty much finished up sanded to bar metal with 80 Grit. Took me about 10-12 hours with all disassemby and sanding.

Look at this B@DASS dent I have to get out I am taking sugestions on how to get it either a slide hammer or pund it out from the inside!

All my plastic Pieces sanded down PITA!

Ok I will be done sanding all the jams and bits in pieces by the weekend ( Sunday) I have decided to go with a Basecoat/Clearcoat system from PPG, has anyone ever used this paint or system before? I am going with a Ford Color call Performance White I had it on my 01 Mustang Gt and loved the color so I figured I would stick with it!

Lemme know what you all think ofr some of your experiences

I did us a DA sander for everything, as for bondy the body is actually straighter than I thought it was there is that one bad dent from my F'in DAD backing into it and thats all for Major repairs there is a few small low spots but a lil bondo and glazing compound will take care of that!

HELLL YEAH its alot of work, this car is going to be my GF's when its done now that I have another one and she wanted the white mustang ?????????????

have you ever thought of using the airplane striper. That would cut your time 4x's. It will strip all the paint off the car but you will have to get some primer on the car or it will rust quick. This is the stuff im going to use on my intake in a couple of weeks to take the paint off my intake so i can sand it down.

I used the stripper, but there is some material it still doesnt get off, like the chip guard that stuff is just like metal, takes forever to get off! I used paint stripper like 4 months ago on it and I am just finsishing the sanding now, takes a long time to get it perfect. Plus you can't use the stripper on the plastic parts, it has to all be done by hand
