RE: Newbie with questions....
ORIGINAL: BAT
The KID selling the '93 didn't seem to thrilled on getting me some more detailed pics as I requested then said to me after I asked "bottom" line....... "I don't need to sell it, price is firm".... then why list OBO after the asking price??
Anyway, it left a bad taste in my mouth so I've kept the search on.

RE: Newbie with questions....
It would probably be easy to fix, but a hassel, and would more than likely be frustrating, as it sounds like there are some electrical problem in the car that need to be fixed. More times than none, if the top on the GT is the factory top, it is no longer going to be in that great of condition considering it is 20 years old.
Depending on where the rust is, it should be easy to fix. But usually if there is rust in one spot, there is most likely more rust in another. If you go look at it, really look hard with a flashlite or something, and make sure that the control arm mounts (torque boxs') aren't rusted because that could cause problems for the chassis further down the road, and being a convertible, you don't want that. The car looks good though.
Are you looking for a vert? I would advise you to point more in the way of a GT, or LX notch/hatch hardtops. Unless you live in Ariz, or Cali where you dont have to worry about cars rusting away.

I hope you have a nice garage to keep it in during the winter/rain cause the top takes a beating. My poor pony is drowning outside as we speak. The top has like 3 massive tears in it and has to be covered with a tarp[:@]
