Default green goe in ignition module plug

The ignition module which is located on the passenger side fenderwell in the engine bay.is that some sort of something or is that not suppose to be in there?

the coil is on the driver side fender well, the ignition module is on the side of the distributor

He must have an older mustang. The goo in the connector is to help keep moisture out of the connector.

i figured it was something like that. I have a 95 cobra so things are in couple diff places.
