suspension n brakes
ok. wanna get my chassis ready to handle to approximate 600hp i wanna put to the rear wheels. suspension opinions? wuts needed? wut will work? i'll smack myself in the face and realize i need to install somptin "right" if someone points out the reasons behind it. thankyou very much.
p.s. the 600hp engine comes next winter. it'll have about 300 with a 150shot of nos for the summer this year (stock 302 block with edlebrock air gap intake and 650 carb el. choke) and then next winter building a 351 windsor for under the hood so yeah. appreciate any opinions!

RE: suspension n brakes
You are going to be needing a lot of bracing so the car doesnt flex:
Full length subrame connectors
torque link bar
panhard bar
Lower control arms
torque box reinforcements
strut tower brace
I would also do this since you are putting this much power to the car all it can do is help:
Tubular k-member
A-arms
Front Coilovers
k-member brace
caster camber plates
adj shocks/struts
As for brakes:
you need to convert to 5 lug
13" rotors
2 pistion calipers
Rear disc brakes
upgrade the axles to 31 spine
upgrade the rearend too
aluminum drive shaft

RE: suspension n brakes
hey thanks a lot man, really appreciate it. im gonna hafto look into who offers good kits and whatnot. luckily i can get the axles and any diff work from work. i was looking at the baer claw rear conversion package, comes with 13" rotors i believe and 2 piston calipers, or you can go up a few grades and get larger ones.
