Wait wait wait. What. A 408 stroker kit in a 302 based block. Yeah ummmmmmm.............................. I def. don't think that is gonna happen. You mean a 351 block right? I am almost positive that a 408 stroker is not gonna fit a 302 block.

PS. I like the new avatar "Vin"

yeh another question is hmm shyt what was it!!
o yeh well since mine speedometer only goes up to 85mph.
Does that mean i cant go faster?
Do i need a new computer or sumthin?
kuz i cant deal with this 85, i do 100 in my parents intrepid haha.
plz tell me theres possiblities haha!!!!!!!!!

Kevin
Federal law mandated an 85mph speedo for the 80's. Ford Motorsport SVO (now FRPP) made a 140 mph speedo (ironicly, the same one for highway patrol Mustangs) and sold it aftermarket. Mine has been in my 86 since the car had less than 500 miles on it. You can find these on E-bay all the time. Saleen used to sell one that went up to 170. Be sure to get one for an 83-86

^^ I didnt realize that. I know that you can stroke them bigger than a 347 but a 408? I didnt know that they could go that high

PS: Thanks FoxRod!

No that's what I said. A 302 can't be storked to a 408.
