I would probally keep the molding the same color as the paint. Just my .02. But WE are not driving it. If you like the molding black, than go with it. Whatever floats you boat. But I still think you should keep them the same

88Blue .... thanks for the advice. I found a pic of another LX with a black stripe and didn't like. Think I'll go without it.

Just trying to pick a final body color. Saw a Must TI color a ways back and it looked nice.

Def staying in the Silver / Gray family.

Im debating paint my car a solid color (black, porsche olive green, or somekind of charcoal) or doing stripes.

Ex:

what do you use to re-attach the molding? Some type of double sided tape? and where do you buy it?

Well, you really shouldnt paint your car with the moldings on them. I was reading something about when you paint it with the moldings on there it gets between the cracks and the paint tends to peal?? Just what I heard.

Also, you can get them off with a heatgun or a blowdryer. Just get it really hot and take a puddy knife and start cutting the tape.

You will have to reattach the moldings with double sided tape. There are better tapes than others but just make sure you get good tape becuase you dont want your moldings falling off lol.
