Default pulleys???!!!

Hey guys, I was reading some reviews at stangnet.com and noticed how much positive feedback people were giving about under drive pullies. Are they really a SOTP gain, worth the money? I might be ordering some tonight if you guys think that they are really worth it.

Yeah me too, I just don't want to buy something that's not really worth 100 bucks.

a set of FRPP pulleys cost me 3 water pumps, 2 alternators, a battery and an alt. wiring loom withen 100K miles. To me, they are not worth it for the street

Do they make the stuff spin faster with smaller pulley or what? This car is a DD and it takes me from school and back 4 days a week, and it is very reliable right now. Should I jeprodize (sp!) with these pullies or put the money elsewhere. Okay, here's a question, 70mm TB or underdrives???

actually, they slow down the accesories, and do not let the alt. cool as effectevly as they should. I dailydrove my 1986 5.0 for 11 years, and have driven mine more than most Fox owners( I put at least 230K on my car myself). I feel that the 3-10 hp that pulleys free up is not worth having your car not opperate at the propper temperature or charge correctly

a 65mm TB is not even worth it with a stock head and intake

the potential problems that could occur due to slowing down the accessories isnt worth the minimal hp gain. i'd go with a 75mm TB.
