here's something funny....

on the vin decoder i printed up from mitchell on demand at the community college,
it lists a 1993 boss in the decoder.....

i cannot confirm that a boss ever existed in 93, i dont believe it....

the only thing i can think of is the 94' boss 10L svt concept.....
but would that really get in a vin decoder......

just type in the vin # at www.carfax.com and it will tell you the year and the original engine and everthing like that

no theres other cobra mustangs...1979-1981 you could get the option of the cobra package...so 93 isnt the only year of the foxbody cobra....if u dont believe me read the Official Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference & Performance Handbook. but 87 theres not such cobra....

Yeah i think what Ob was saying about insurance thing is right. I know when i got a quote for a GT, it had gt and cobra listed as the same car. so maybe that just confused someone...

no cobras in 87 or 88 89 90 or 91 92, they did come back in 93 and sure way if there cobra not a gt is look at the 8th letter of vin 93 thru 95 8 th letter be a d, gt's are the e cars so the 8th letter be a e, even though like my 92 gt had said 92 gt/ cobra why ill nerver know, but i know this, it wasnt a cobra.

Happens all the time. Be careful what you buy cause it might just be a fake.

i have a friend that has a 1989 cobra/r is say's it on the title does that mean it's a cobra?or not.i know they say a true cobra is a 93 but what if the title and dash say's differant

check and see if it is a canadian mustang......mustang gt's were labled and titled as cobras there, so if it was originally sold in canada that may explain the listing

yes the canadian GT is called a gt cobra. so if it's canadian, then yes it is real but it's just a regular american GT
