When I had my exhaust done, I went with 3 inch stainless tips, a little bit pricey, but atleast they won't rust, and are very easy to polish up. They look great with the cobra bumper and GT tail lights as well. see I stayed on topic.

i was just wondering, cuz ive looked through most of the magazines and the closesti could find to the polished tips were the lx tailpipes, whered you get yours from?

I got mine at the muffler shop where I had the car done, just ask for what ever size you want, most shops have them or can get them. Get stainless, you will thank me later on.

yeah i just started checking into the tailpipes the last few days, cuz id definately have to change the turndowns [8D]

it looks so much cleaner with out the cheese grader tails!!! i just think the GT tails remind me of those old pulsar tail lights. never liked them. thats another reason i like my GT.. didnt come with the "Cheesy" tails. lol. JMO though.

If I do replace my tail lights I am only going with the cobras, I just like them so much better.

cobra's are nice, they are just redone SVO tails though. grey lines on them instead of black. i like my 86 tails.

Can the cobra tail lights be purchased any where that come as a complete lens and housing, or are the lenses to only way you can get them.

yeh u can grab them used for like 100bucks or so on ebay almost all the time. but foxmustangrestoration.com has a brand new from ford set (in green lol) for $450. the box has never been open. how useless

i like my bumper too, its just got a few cracks in it (i think) so i need a new one, im not gonna get a cobra bumper B/C im gonna go with dumps when i redo my exhaust
