be patient young grass hopper, I have heard alot of people have fitment issues on other hoods, needs body work to get them to fit.

i got mine for 300, but i bought it at a car show, so no shipping, the fit is a little off, but not much, im not sure what company it was, but ill try to find out

hey thrashn wwhat size is that cowl? im wanting either a 3 or 4 inch cowl. also whats been done to your motor and car. thanks jason

my hood is a 2.5" cowl.
My motor is a 200,000 mile motor with
flowtech equal length shorty headers, h-pipe, flowmaster 2 chamber cat back, under drive pullies. Smog, A/C and front sway bar removed.

i have cincinnati composites and boss inc. hoods .... the cinci is a 4 inch fits good the boss is a dual snorkle 1.5 inch i have also had the boss cobra r it is 2.5 inch, the fitment and quality of boss is second to none i bought both at a swap meet the boss i bought direct for 280.00 it was a blem had awhite mark where it rubbed another hood rubbed right outno shipping of course and the cinci i bought direct for 300.00 at the show.. ho fibertrends is here in ohio and my friends have bought them they are nice but the fitment isn't perfect.. boss is my favorite but they won't have a 3-4cowl hood out till this summer { that's what i wanted to buy at the swap meet this month} cervini is very nice also.. also if you buy ho fibertrends look b4 you buy i have seen several that were supposed to be a 3 inch and were closer to 4

I had one of those ebay hoods on my 86. It wouldn't even use them on a racecar because it started cracking so bad I thought it was going to come apart driving down the road. Be read to sand a grind to get it straight and smooth, the body lines on the ebay hoods are horrible.

abcexclusive.com is another one. I am not sure if I got their name right, but get any 5.0 mag and there will be a dozen or so ads for companies in them.

I just bought a 2.5" from abcexclusive. Have not had it painted or installed yet, but it is very good quality. I think I paid around $280 plus shipping.
