Yes it is a lot of fun and love doing this kind a stuff. i have been working on stangs for years and have always wanted to do a project car from start to finish and it be done "right" in my opinion. I have gotten more done on the car I finished the plate on the passenger side and got some of the plates of metal welded in the big holes before the rain came. no pics bc of the rain

Here are some more pics of my progress on the car. I have almost all the holes welded up and I have the brake line bent under the pinch weld. Im almost ready to spread the fiberglass fill to make a smooth surface.

im not sure how much money you have to throw around but if i were in your position right now and i had easy access to it i would throw in a tubular k-member. just an idea. and so far its looking pretty good. ive got a project of my own. its completely torn down right now but its just about ready for paint and then assembly!!

good job on the pics... when i go to cars shows one of the cooler thigns is when the car builder has a little scrap book you can flip through seeing how he progressed through the project..

not sure if im going to put a tubular k-member in it or not. Right now I just want to get the engine bay finished and start working on the interior. I have to paint the interior black and before I put it in the car I have to lay down the sound deadening.

Just Got most of the parts for my project car from my uncle. Here is the list of parts that I got:

GT-40P engine
Explorer Intake
Bellhousing
5.0 Calipers
Timing Cover
5.0 Spindles
5.0 Fuel lines
GT Rear bumper cover
GT Driver side bumper extension
Oil pan and pickup
Hatch

I got all these parts for $1000. I only need a few more parts and I will have everything for the car.

Here are some new pics of the engine bay that I have been working on. I also have the hatch on the car but dont have pics of that. The engine is on the engine stand and soon the heads will be coming off for some port work and new parts. Next is to replace the fuel lines and put the GT rear bumper and driver side extension on to get some of th eparts our of the garage. Then wiring the whole car.
