I was thinking about doing the clutch myself, as for welding I dont know how to weld...

I just got charged $400 in labor including turning the flywheel. As for the SFC's. Unless ou have a lift or a way to get the car high enough to work on, and still have all the weight on the wheels then you best get someone else to do them. You need the car to be sitting like it will be while driving to get the support you need.
