Hey guys, ive been thinking about selling my 84 5.0 mainly because to get it the way im going to want it its going to take 3-4k and i really need a pickup truck. I really dont know how to price the car i bought it for only $400 but ive put about $1000 into it. The car is very reliable and runs well it has 145k. I got the transmission rebuilt about 5 months ago. I have replaces most of the ignition and shocks. It hasoriginal paint so the paint isnt great but there is very little rust on the car and the body is near perfect it has never been hit hard and needs no body work. And the car is all original minus shift kit. The bad is that the carpet was in terrible shape so i removed it and the speedo quit working after the transimssion rebuild im guessing it is the gear.

Here is some pictures of it keep in mind that these are at night so the car really doesnt look that good but for original paint on an 84 it isnt that bad

i would say put it up for 2500 obo and see what people offer you

yea i hate to sell it i love driving it but if i could make a grand off of it that would be wonderful. i might loook at a junk yard for new carpet i took it and the back seats out and my dad threw it all away......

thanks for your responses guys, im really torn between selling it or not because ever since i was real young ive wanted to rebuild a car and im afraid ill be mad at myself for a long time for selling the perfect project car that i got for only $400...... does anybody else have any estimates

i know the feeling thats why im not selling my mustang no matter how far i get into debt or what ever its not leaving
