Daily Driving and winter

RE: Daily Driving and winter
I hate driving mine in the rain because it likes to spin the tires too easily.
I had to move it once this winter on ice and all it did was spin the tires. It just wouldnt go anywhere until I threw down some ice melt. That probably had alot to do with the summer tires and 4.10 gears though.

I think that's the problem with ANY mustang since they're all rearwheel drive. I know I have that problem and it sux big time. Even with cat litter bags in the trunk going slow its still a pain driving in the winter.

If your going to get the stang! Keep it for the good weather. Get a cheap beater with heat for the winter, somthing awd, 4x4, fwd. If you can get it in the summer, prices go up in the winter! But i had am5 GT dropand a notch a4 , spent more time sidways then i did going straight.worse then my camaro and t/a

The challenge in the winter is not the fact that the car is a Mustang, it's that ya'all are trying this with summer performance tires.
I switched to 70 series winter tires GoodYear Nordic. Even with a lowered suspension I found my coupe to be unstoppable in the winter.
I also have a 2wd Ram with worn Radial TA's and when it snows, I'd rather be piloting the Mustang.
Another reason to consider getting another car for the winter is salt really takes it's toll on Mustangs.
