lincoln five lug/disc conversion

RE: lincoln five lug/disc conversion
If all you want is the 4 disc conversion, you can just use the rear brakes from a 87-88 T-Bird turbo coupe, or 93' Cobra. They bolt up. Here is a link with some more info. http://www.sn95brakes.com/4lug.php Not much need for 5 lugs unless you are making a lot of power, or want some fancy rims. A lot of racing rims with 4 lugs.

P.S. If you go 4 discs you will have to get a new master cylinder and proportioning valve.

RE: lincoln five lug/disc conversion
I have swapped to the 4 discs, and still have on the stock master-c and p-valve. After trying to do some hard braking while going fast, I realized that I need the larger Master-c & p-valve. I can stop well for the most part. But it should be braking a lot better than it does.
