almost had a double foxbody crash today at the track
there was two stangs racing side by side today for one run. the one in the left lane runs a 514ci engine, with nitrous. and turns 8.8 @ 160-something or other. the one in the right lane is a 1986 with a 351 windsor, also nitrous. and turns 10.8 @ 130 i think. and when he launches the car and each time he shifts the car pulls left really bad, off the line u can see the left rear tire coming off the ground aswell as the front tires.
anyways since it was bracket racing the 8 second mustang in the left lane waits on the line.....well when the 8 second mustang was just about to pass the 10 second mustang at about 3 1/4 track.....the 10 second mustang shifts into 4th and puts the car completly sideways, and comes across the line .....so the 8 sec mustang slammed on the brakes to avoid the otherstang.sothen the 10 second mustangcranks the wheels right (so coming back into his own lane) just misses the guard rail in his lane, so he is going straight down the track again.
its was freaky, he literally came inches away from taking out the 8 sec stang. and i saw it all from track view b/c i work there and im the burnout guy who sprays water in the burnout box, etc.
but ya tears almost came to my eyeson this one, and thought i would share it.
by the way heressome pics of the 8 sec mustang....................i couldnt find a pic of the 10 second stang...

damn that car is crazy and that would have sucked if the stangs crashed i would have cryed too. how did you land the job at the track thats pretty sweet
