Default Bad day at the track

Well I went to the track today hoping to make some 12 second passes. It was very hot today and I couldn't get any traction my first 2 runs. My3rd run was right after they had cleaned and preped the track after it rained and I did a little better but no where near what I wanted. Unfortuanatly I went 3 tenths faster then my dial in and got eliminated. I was able to tie my best et from before I did my head swap launching at a very low rpm.

1st run: 2.4 60ft 13.8 @103mph 1/4
2nd run 2.0 60ft 13.6 @ 103 1/4
3rd run 1.85 60ft 13.2@ 104 1/4

with a 1.85 and that trap, all the numbers make sense. You arent trapping high enough for much more. However, if u did that before the head swap, maybe it was just the heat. do u have the rest of ur numbers? some of the people on here are better at interpreting slips than me

ill blame the heat too... im sure i could have had a few 14.0 passes, and was looking for a 13.9, BUT, it was hot/humid, my mph went down by 2, and et was the same as last time out, when it was 60 and dry... so i guess i/we cant bitch too much

I blame the tires with slicks an a 3000 grand launch you will run 12.8s based on the MPH.

I've pulled 106mph runs before I did my head swap and 1.7 60ft as well. I think it was just a crappy day at the track today. They are have bracket racing again tomorrow so I think I'm going to give it another try. Hopefully get myself down into the 12's.
