so...I have been so broke with all my bills and everything that I still have not been able to repair this cowl...however! I have been replacing small things...such as the map light and fixing up the windows...which doesn't cost much...and now I am going to finally go into the cowl for next repair

my question is....what should I do??

should I replace this cowl....(what would be involved?) or should I just bring it to a body shop...pay them some money and have them play with it to straighten it out??

thanks...I'm just trying to figure out wether I should go through the trouble of attempting to replace the cowl...or just have a body shop work their magic I suppose lol

ouch, your gonna have to take that to a shop, unless you are good with a welder, cuz you have to replace that panel. and no one makes that panel anymore

try the shop. that panel is welded on, and unless your very skilled at drilling out the spot welds/not distorting one off a junker, a shop would be your best bet. that panel isnt made anymore (the plastic vent cover is) but the steel isnt produced anymore. a good shop should beable to have her good as new

plus, I think the windsheild has to come out to get it out/installed properly, but dont hold me too it.

that is a hard fix , mine just had a small bend where the hood flew back , it took a couple of trys to get it out and my dad and i have been doing body work like all our live's . if you take it to a shop expect at least your 600 if not a little more . depends on the shop and how close to perfect you want it .
