man lots of nice cars out tonight. this Z wasnt pretty but it sounded mean as hell.

i didnt even notice him untill i could hear someone yelling at me (my exhaust + loud stereo = me deaf)

anyway... back to the story. Z28 stock minus exhaust + shift kit (thats what they said atleast). i was straight up and told him i had about a grand in suspension but really no engine mods. his license plate was "TRYMYZ" i got a laugh out of that seeing how he asked me lol.

we went from about a 20 roll but it was around a turn so we both went sideways for a really good distance. he couldnt figure out the honk thing so he just went when he heard me. i pulled atleast 1-2 cars on him immediatly and he started to catch up. hit 3rd and i was pulling on him.

we talked a bit after and i said i would be around more and we'll prob line up again sometime.

not sure if he went all out but i was really surprised how well my car did. basicaly stock motor, AOD with 3.55's. i was happy.

Mid 90's like a TPI 350? or a TBI 305? If it was a TPI 350 then you did pretty good. If it was a TBI 305, they run like 17.8's in the 1320, so don't feel so good! lol...

after 94 i think they all had lt1's in them. thats the year trans am my friend had and if it wasnt an ls1 it was a v6

93 to 97 got the LT1

98-02 got the LS1 and "round" headlights as opposed to earlier models with "boxed" headlights.

this was no 305 or V6. i wouldnt have even wasted my time. i told them i would probably lose.. i know where my car stands. i was wrong though [8D]
