Default Rear Main Seal

I have a 1989 mustang.I just found out that I have an oil leak coming from the rear main seal. I am having this repaired. Before I take it, I was wanting to get some advice. Is there any modifications that I should do while they have either the transmission out or the engine out????? I figured I could go ahead and get something done...To keep from having to remove these in the future.....Any advice is good advice.

Any particular brand that you would recommend as far as performance goes......Would I be better off just getting a clutch kit.....How about any particular flywheel.....
