Curious? What Ford 4 cyl. Has 2 plugs per cyl? In what Car did that come in originally?

Does it have 2 exhaust manifolds or 1? If it has 2manifolds, the 2 sparkplugs per cyl. theory doesnt work.

The 2.3L has 2 plugs per cylinder.. But that would not explaine the 4 exhaust ports that you claim to have seen.

P.S. The 5.0L looks much different in a fox than in a SN95. Engine bays are larger in a fox which makes the engine look smaller. It's just an illusion.

i think 91-93 2.3 came with 8 plugs..and a 4.6 is bigger looking then a 5.0..just look at them

Are you sure its an aero nose? Some of the earlier 4 eyes came witha 4.2L V8 in them. I also think the foxes before 87 came with single exhaust on all of the cars.

dual exhaust was not standard until 84 or 85 i believe....

and the dual spark plug on 4 cylinders started in 90 i believe also

The 255 was only offeredin the 80 & 81 mustangs and it was carb. The block is the samebasic blockas the 5.0 block so even if some did waste the time to put a newer 5.0 fuel injection system on it, it would still look just a large as a 5.0.
