Default will this setup beat a gsxr1000????

i was talking to a guy at work and he said that theres no street legal car that can beat a suzuki gsxr1000. i asked him to go to turbo mustangs website and check out the vids. but of course he dosnt have time. just talks smack. so anyway, i have right now two(2) 45mm turbos,f-cam,forged 331 kit, roller block with main and lifter valley girdles, weiand 7515 intake, 650 dp blow thru carb, im still collecting parts till i get enough to start building. and its all going in a 1989 coupe with 3.27 posi and c4 with reverse manual valve body and trans brake.im thinking its enough to put him in his place but not sure. what do you all think?

with the power im lookin at the street race would be dangerous even with dr's. but of course alittle stop light to stop light . maybe 1st and 2nd gear. but mainly 1/8 mile track

1/8 mile you'd get killed. and with the new gsx-r 1000 that are fuel injected.....they are pretty insane, i'd have to say your set-up wouldnt beat it in a 1/8 or stop light to stop light. maybe i'm wrong though

Ive seen in person 1 car that would actualy SMOKE a gixxer 1000. Over at Milan dragway in MI. I saw 2 cars at the test and tune session. Both run in the 10.5" outlaw class. 1 was a turbo'd stang the other was a stock bodied '68 chevelle SS. The stang was runnin 6.50's and the chevelle 6.90's. Thats 2 seconds (almost 3) faster in the 1/4 than the gixxer.

lol i think he said the wrong thing, a smarter thing to say is that no (production) vehicle will beat his bike.
i doubt he (the fellow with the suzuki)can do it, but the 06 will run 9.2s with only tires and suspension changes, as ive witnessed plenty of times, and the worst riders will usually be high 9s and 10 flats.depending on what kind of boost you will be running, you can take him. id say get some race gas, and a big boost tune and shut him up.

ur talkin about a bike, and not everyone can ride a bike, let along a drag bike. are we talkin a modded gixxer? are we talkin a damn good rider? i kno riders that think their **** with their 1000's and get smoked by people on stock 600's cuz they don't kno how to ride.
laugh ya'll, but he's a legend out here
