i mean i can if i want to... but no i can launch now and get minimal spin, or hook just fine... i meant im praying i can hook 1st spraying...

I would get a window switch, I would definately be worried about first even with M/T's.

90mustang5.8... My car is taken apart right now, but the pistons look like they have just been beaten to hell (the top of them at least), but i'm doing H/C/I right now and don't know if I should worry about my bottom end and all my internals. Anybody know if I should be fine, considering they are forged they should last forever but they just had a bunch of residue on the top of them...

and yes pistons are going to have carbon, chances are your bottom end is fine... post pics of some of the pistons tho, so we can see if there is any damage that should be taken care of

Here's what I have from my H/C/I pics, i'll prob have to take more. btw, I cleaned all the coolant off and have terry cloth towels stuffed over everything now.

I hadn't set it to firing position #1 until after the pictures but I am all done, I just have to pull the old cam out and put the new stuff in when I pick it up next Friday. I'll take some pictures now and post them!

That's normal carbon build up.. Just clean those pistons up, and make them look shiny and new again, and you'll be good to go.. Doesn't look to be any damage... Normal
