A simple set of gears and an intake he'll be taking on your mach 1
I'll have to disagree with you there I don't see that happening with just gears and intake.

pushrods will always outpower the over head cam. thats where ford made there mistake they can't make a modular v8 engine over like 5.4 liters i think they can strech it to a 5.6 but its got a horrible rod piston ratio. you can make the pushrods up over 1000 cubes

Well yeah, except you will only need one cam, and parts will be a lot cheaper...
4.6 is also a single cam....
unless it's a 4v then it's dual cam....
[sm=jawdrop.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif] oh god i needed that

wow derf.... just wow...
the 4.6L 2v has 2 cams. the 4.6L 4v has 4 cams

and I know the 99-04 is technically a SN-95, but they are a SN-95B.... second version... refered to as "New Edge"

the 94-98 were the "true" SN-95's
and only the 94-95's had a half way decent engine
Ya know...[&:]I thougth about that shortly after I posted it about the SOHC... [sm=youreright.gif][8D]I fubared that one...I need a vacation.. [X(]

As for the SN95...it's all SN95. Platforms are based on the frame setup not the engine or body. I've never heard of a new edge referred to as SN-95b

What are the horsepower/torque ratings of the 94-95 5.0's?

Does insurance for a 95 or older cost alot? I was actually thinking about getting a cheap one for my daily driver so I can lock the Mach up in the garage unless it's a sunny day lol

Insurance is nothing. for my 1990 5.0 I pay $89/mo full coverage through state farm.
