I recently recieved a 1984 GT 350 Mustang...This car was won by my mother in the summer of 1984. She's been driving it ever since...Well recently it was given to me...I decided to have the engine rebuilt, because this one had more that 150,000 miles...

Well we took it into the shop and once it was broken down...It was found to have the roller engine from the 85 Stang...How could this be possible...I thought these cars were supposed to have 175 horspower not 200+.

Could there actually be more of these cars with the roller motors.

I believe him...Man i was totally shocked...My mother won this car in the summer of 84...i think it was june...and no one has touched it until now....She kept it in the garage and she gave it to me for my 30th birthday.....I took the motor in to have it rebuilt because of the mileage...and it was discovered there....

I'm gonna write ford and find out if there's any truth to this...Because this car is all orginal....I wonder what came with the VIP versions...this car has the roller cam engine in it.

the VIP GT350's had 351's in them. there was one around here. the VIP's were supposed to be given back to the dealer when they left the company but this lady held on to hers and gave it to her son who sold it to a friend of mine. they had all the original documents on the car and it came with a 351 which was very surprising to me.
