save another$1000, get a base 5 to8 lbs vortech supercharger system (ebay, summit). vortech has a tech section on website stating that a stock aod with stock suspension can be in 12's.

friend of mine with stock motor/suspension with above mentionedvortech supercharger and an AOD with a 3.73 gears ran a best time of 13.47 at 98.62 mph / 60 ft. time was 1.983 -- he added a tranny shift kit and 4k converter and drag streets. got into 12's.

Gears and exhaust will full length headers if you have to spend the money. I would save for awhile so you can buy h/c/i and full exhaust. With that you will have good power then save for the susp. so you can get all that power to the street.

Gears, exhaust, subframe connectors. Thats what i started out with, also gave it a complete tuneup. After that i got slotted brake rotors.

Thanks guys.

The car is in great condition with 84,000 original miles.

I bought the car from some old man in San Jose that always kept it garaged and never used it much. The car once belonged to the Government (Border Patrol) i've got no idea why but it did.

She's a beauty, I'll post some pictures up shortly.

Gears are one of the best bangs for your buck. 3.73 for manuals, 4.10's for automatics (or maybe 3.73's, depending on what you're going to use your car for). A CAI won't amount to much of anything, it's mostly just for under the hood bling. 2-3 RWHP at most.
