Never cut springs before huh? WHY?


I cut mine too, it rides the same as before. The springs aren't progressive, they are specific rate so you can cut and not change the spring rate. I agree, cutting the stock springs does nothing for performance, but neither does leaving themstock springs. I hate it when people dog about cutting springs when they know nothing about it. I lowered my car for free, what did you pay?[sm=rant.gif]

I'm not crazy about the lowered GT look either. Stock looks better to me, Maybe I'm getting old!!

for what it is i guess its cool, i just like lx's lowered and gts either stock, or w. drag springs... mine seems to look like its sitting about a half inch low all the way around, and well... its ok.... i do like how it launches tho, so i wont **** w.it

my boy cut 2 coils out his s-10 and it would bounce so bad it loked like he had hydraulics

Still want to know how many coils you cut off your springs? Will you end up buying lowering springs later or stick with what you have?

1 1/2 in the front and 2 1/2 in back.....im gonna leave how it is for now until i start modding it (winter)
