hey guys i am going to put some lx taillights in my gt but im wandering if i can just get just the lx taillight lens and bolt them onto the factory gt taillight buckets or do i have to get the hole lx taillight assembly???

I think you can get just the lenses for 83-93 lights.

The whole assembly is cheap enough that youre better off buying them as a unit.

What color is your GT?
Ive been looking for a set of GT lights but want the right color for my car.

My car is red, and there are nothing wrond with the taillights i just like the look of the lx lights, where have u been looking at them were the hole assemblys are cheap??

go to a junk yard and find a stang with those lights....it takes 2 minutes to take em off and put a new set on. plus a junk yards they'll be like 5 bucks each

oic, my right lx light got smashed so i got a new condition one from the junkyard for 5 bucks
