I had 235/60/15MT's and hadtrouble hooking those tires consistantly but my best time with them was a 13.01 w/ a 1.75 60ft. I think I have some more playing around with my suspension before I blame the tires for my traction problems. I'll be back to the track soon enough to find out if swapping to slicks makes a difference.

I have 26x10.5 mt et's that I've yet to try at the track. I haven't even mounted them on the car yet.

For the street I have cheap no name 225/60/15's on a 15x7 w/ 4.5 bs weld wheel . They work for day to day driving and if I feel like doing a burnout I don't care if they go bald.

Here's a guy I know, 17" M/T drag radials,

"I ran a 9.35 at 150 on the first pass but it did not really matter since they did not pick my class. "

Yeah, it's a street car. I'm trying to find the video of it. Can't remember where I saw it. When I find it, I'll post it.

This was from Pinks all out when it was @ MIR a few weeks back.

It has to do w/ you stating that anyone with a car w/ any power will not get traction w/ these tires. [&:]

That's what it has to do with...............

if your car is faster than 14's don't get this tire. my dad was testing out his new 1969 dodge dart...440 big block full suspension. he did a really long burnout and still spun off the line and after every shift. he ran a 13.5 @ 110 MPH in the 1/4.........their brand new tires btw
