235/60/15 m/t drag radials
if your car is faster than 14's don't get this tire. my dad was testing out his new 1969 dodge dart...440 big block full suspension. he did a really long burnout and still spun off the line and after every shift. he ran a 13.5 @ 100 MPH in the 1/4.........their brand new tires btwEDIT: ^^typo

How was the air pressure? I bet it went way up after his burnout and that is why he had no traction. My buddy has a nova with a 383 stroker running those same tires/size and he runs a 12.5 at 107mph...they work for him.

So, because your dad can't make them work (and I suspect it's not the tire) nobody should buy them. I have that tire (in a slightly different size) and pull consistant 1.5 60's and run mid to high 11's all day long, and my suspension is pretty stock (just lower control arms). You are the first person I have heard that has not been happy with them. Cars have been in the 8's on them.

uh yea... 90mustang5.8 no more talking for you, lol
i have those tires, their great.... i hook off the line fine w. no rear suspension mods and a 100 shot... itll chirp 2nd or sometimes kick 2nd sideways slightly but what do you expect shifting the **** outa it w. a 100 shot? those are damn good tires... i even have that exact size. theres a guy at our track runnin 9s on that tire and he swears by them.
tell you dad a few things
drop psi to like 15
since their brandnew he needs to burn the **** outa them to get them "broken in" my first few passes on mine werent great, but now there awesome tires.
and to heat them up untill he actually feels the car bog a little or slow up because their grabbing while spinning
also realize... even tho its a DR and not a **** street tire... it still takes skill to launch... i would even say more so then street tires(because w. them most ppl, including me(tho i dont even race on a street tire) just go off idle)

Yeah, I guess it is time for some driver mods for him and others he knows. I just can't understand how others can run the same type of tires without having any issues. Maybe all the others are doing some right, you think.
