Default 3.55 vs. 3.73

What would be best for a 94 gt , my upgrades are transgo shift kit?

AODE?? 4.10s or bust. [8D]

Its kinda a toss-up between 3.55s and 3.73s. The difference is miniscule, if you measure by seat of the pants feel.

I wouldn't go less than 3.73, 4.10 is the way to go

what about for the 5 speed manual?? I got 3.73 now, but I have a friend who has 4.10 kit for sale. should I switch or will it make that big of a difference?

Go with 3.73s for the 5-speed. 4.10s with the auto.

The C4 has about the same 1st gear ratio as the AOD, but no overdrive. If it sees any highway time, I would do 3.55s or 3.73s. If its just a weekend racer, than install some 3.90s or 4.10s.
