Default X or H pipe

I've got 2 chamber 40series flows but it's not load as i thought it was going to be. I now want to put a H or X pipe on(smog legal ones) which one will be louder.

Ive got the same flow on my car with h pipe. i think unless you cut the cats off its not gonna be all that loud. there off on my car but i dont have any restrictions where i live. either way i dont think there gonna be to far apart from each other. its gonna sound good either way you go.

u can get bolt up, u can use clamps to do the job. i prefer to have it welded, but its more perminent. its up to u what ya wanna do. i dont figure you'll be changing your exhaust all the time. it just depends on if you want to pay the muffler shop to do it or do it yourself.i love the way my flows sound.

Actually I just uploaded this video not even 10 minutes ago. It's a video of my car at idle. Summit-brand headers, H-pipe, Flowmaster 40s. It should give you a decent idea of what it would sound like with an H-pipe. Generally, people say that an X-pipe will give you more HP (not a lot more...very slight) but an H-pipe sounds better.
