ok so this kid wants to race me and im not sure who would win (i know the reaction time has alot to do with it but from the mods who would win?)

i have a 91 gt AOD w/ a B&M shifter, transgo shift kit, 4:10 gears, bbk headers, offroad h-pipe, flows 40, CAI, upper/lower control arms w/ torque boxes, subframes, 90/10 lakewoods, 4 cyl springs, 50/50, MT radials and i removed a/c, smog, sway bar and everything behind my front seats

this kid has an 01 tiburon 2.0 (auto) with a precison sc61 turbo, garrett intercooler and a NX intercooler sprayer, big bore tb, cam and cam gears, plugs and wires, crank pulley, 3inch exhaust, front drag radials, removed rear seats

what do u think are ETs would be in th 1/4 also??

he has an AOD....

both of you will run mid to high 13s, trap around 103

you will pwn him on launch, but he will gain as the turbo spools, i'd like to think you will win though

just lettin u guys know the tiburon weighs about 2600 lbs and has 140 hp stock and 133 ft/lbs torque BUT that is without all the mods and turbo he has

I would be willing to be that thing doesn't break into the 14's into the 1/4 mile... I'm not going to look up what they run but it's probably a 16 second car stock...

you can get him off the line but you better get traction cuz if he gets the jump on you his turbo is gonna kick in then its over vatooooo.[8D]

Alot will depend on the weather. Being N/A, if it's hot and humid, or you run at a high altitude you'll lose. Should be an interesting race, but I think you'll lose in the end.
