when my car was stock with pretty much the same mods plus 4.10's and decent street tires it would dead hook every time until the tires started getting bald.

when i floor my car it will leave a good 20-30ft patch just mashing it in drive

if i hold it in first it'll burn em untill i let off

not many mods

I love my AOD, it's a great tranny. Just not in stock form. You need to absolutely put a tranny cooler in it first!

Ok thank you guys once again.. Im definetly gonna do what you guys consider.. And now i dont feel as bad cause a couple other guys cars wont light em up if they floor.. I guess it must be the new tires..

I'm not sure if my AOD is about to go... I want to get a bigger stall/tranny cooler/ and valve body but if the tranny is about to go what is the good in that... The 1-2 shift is really good until i've been driving for 10 minutes and then it starts shifting really hard and the car jerks... then the 2-3 shift is always good but the 3-4 is like bang and makes a loud noise shifting into 4... Sucks... I'm not sure if the tranny is going outor what...

JEFF,

visit clickclickracing.com and post your problem in the tech forum. the guy there, SILVERFOX, is very reliable with auto tranny stuff. the site is dedicated to auto stangs. check it out. u won't be disappointed.
