Default Got a bad 347 smoking all comers

My new 347 is killing all the local competition, but I have to catch them in 2 and run by them in third, got absolutely no traction. I won't go to the track until I get some good slicks that I can drive on the street, what say you, which are going to give me the most bite for the buck and what size? I am making 400+ HP with 3.73 and WC 5 speed, and 15 in. Pro Stars, and turning around 6800 at each shift. Thanks upfront for the advice.

Are you going to be running around with these tires all the time or swap them out when you are going to race?

The M/T's will be fine for you, or the Hoosier QTP is you want a bias-ply. My vote is for the M/T though.
