Final tire thread (for me)
i know i have asked this general question a couple times, but i finiall got my wheels
are 255/45/17 fronts and 275/40/17 rear good sizes (17x9)
and what brand tire, price MUST be less than 125 bucks, but has to be a good tire (summer tires are ok, we rarely see rain)

Khumos are ok and not to expensive. But the sizes u are looking for will drive up the price
The best thing to do is just go to ur local tire dealer and talk to them. Discount tire has great prices

RE: Final tire thread (for me)
the overall diameter of a 255/45/17 is a half inch taller than a 275/40/17..so i would go witha 245/45/17 for the front which is almost exactly the same height of a 275/40
if you want cheap tires that also get good wet/dry traction go with sumitomo, or BFG g-force
there cheap, get good traction, and you wont care if you burn them off
