Default wanting to get a New convertible top

sup my Stang people,,,,,well i got a 92 fox body mustang gt, and i was woundering how much do new convertible tops run, and if i get a new one would i have any trouble with water leaking in, or would i have to get some new trip around the convertible top?


and should i go with white top? or black top? im leaning more with black top cause im wanting to get black rims, and i want to redue my seats black with red threads and put 2 red stips down the seats and put a 5.0 in red between the 2 red stips..... and put the back seats black with red threads and put 5.0 in the middle on the seat

If your weathershipping needs replacing, do it now when you get a new top. You can have a quality shop install the new top with pads and everything else needed for between $700-$1000 (that includes parts and labor).

You can order a new top online or from catalog, but be ready to spend a few days replacing it if you have never tried to do it before. I wrote up an article on how to replace the top on our fox bodys. You can find it in the Vert sub forum under general tech. I will see if I can find it and bump it to the top.

there is a place here that charges 900 to do a complete top on our 94 GT... gonna have that done next spring cuz everything is startin to dry out on it real bad

when i had my 85 i got my top from http www.texasmustang.com and installed it with a friends help in 6 hours or so. save yourself some money and do it yourself. and go with the black, white is a bitch to keep up with.
