Default 1993 Lx to GT body conversion

Hey [/align]Is it possible to make a 93 lx look the same as a 93 gt including the front bumper and pony elbelm in the front so it would look like this http://www.mustangspecs.com/carpics/93cobra.gif What other diffrences are there in the LX to the GT[/align]thanks [/align]

Yes. Hardest part is mounting the pieces though cause the gt pieces had rails bolted into the fender and rear body to mount the pieces to. Most the time when you buy the ground effects from ebay or such, they dont sell the mounting brackets with the pieces. But all you need are the front and rear bumper cover, front fender extensions, rear fender extensions, side skirts, and rear skirt extension, wing, tail lights, and fog light holder bar, slong with fog lights and the switch inside the car.

How much would all that cost and is diffcult to install .Would that make it identical to the GT so you wouldnt be able to tell the diffrence [/align]thanks [/align]

wouldnt be hard for a body shop but if you have never done it it would be difficult. from the outside thats all you would need to have a GT
btw you posted a pic of a cobra that is slightly different than a GT. the cobra does not have the air scoops in front of the tires, has a different spoiler, has a different grille, has different lights, and the cobra badges

Shouldnt be too hard to find used GT parts. Several people are taking the gt stuff off to make it look like an lx. My buddy is doing it now. If your intrested in buying his gt kit pm me and i will ask him what he wants for it.
