i got 2 grand to spend....
Hey
I finally got my first car, a 93 mustang GT. It has a couple upgrades, like 40 srs flows, H-pipe, BBK caster-camber plates, steeda 1 1/4 lowering springs, KYB shocks, maximum motorsports sub frame connectors, maximum motorsports strut tower brace, JBA headers, and adjustable clutch. You get the point...So now i have 2k to spend on this car, and Im completely stumped. I was thinking of the Vortec superchargers, maybe a V-5 F-trim http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...amp;cat_key=19or a twin turbo kit. I know the mustang is about american muscle and all, and whenever ppl hear turbo a picture of a honda civic pops up, BUT, tt is very strong. It needs to spool, but gives huge amounts of boost. OR, i don't know if i should get something else besides forced indution, but i don't know anything else that can help as much as those two for 2 grand
any help is freakin appreciated

Turbo kits for 5.0's ROCK, but they start at $3k
You can do a simple DIY turbo that I can walk you thru for $2k, but need
mechanical and welding skills or at least access to them.
dont forget you have to upgrade fuel system also. more $$$$ to spend
Gears would be a good place to start ...... 3.73's should run you about $500 installed.
If you boost it, no need to really to upgrade heads, boost will just
shove more air thru em.

Hahaha, well, if you don't invest it but put it in the car, then yeah, gears and heads at a minimum, it'll make a HUGE difference, maybe a cam tooif you can get it all for that price. Turbo is nice, but pricey for a good setup, and you can always do that later. A nice single turbo setup btw, with a properly selected turbo and a good system and you'll never notice the turbo lag, it'll make wild power and the turbo will be spooled and boosting at low rpm before you ever notice any type of lag whatsoever. So yeah, start with heads/gears/cam

you havent got the money for a worth while S/C or ANY turbo kit for that matter.
I looked for 2 minutes and found some Boost in your price range that could make your car alot faster. I saw 2 turbo kits and a SC that you could buy right now!
