I still can't tell what you did to the trunk....can you explain a little?
the previous owner must have backed into a lightpole, so the mounting area for the tail lights and the bottom of the trunk lip,where the trunk overlaps the weather strip was dented and uneven. i took my angle grinder and evened out the trunk lip. i then used a block sander and made it fit flush with the quarters and tail lights

or the lights? some old lady backed my car into a light pole, so it took some malleting to make the lights hug correctly.

yeah i'm probably gonna have a couple of guys that work at a shop i know do it for me...but what was up with that guy talking about that bad wire before?
the worst part is having tounplug/plug all of the harnesses in the dash bezel.

its a **** for controlling the dim during night. just have your friends hook the two dimmer wires going to the **** to the "panel dim" switch underneath the dash, left of the steering column

sounds good, thank you...my lights are dim behind the speedo and in there, do i replace the bulbs while i'm in there? how do i fix that?
the guages are pre wired with the bulbs(not really sure what they used)so all you do is take out the screws holding in the amp,oilpressure,fuel,temp. guages and place the new guages over the existing black factory ones. there is no bulb replacing or anything. its basically a sticker to go over the stock gauges but you use the bolts instead of glue.
