first off those will gain you a total of about.....10hp. plus you'll lose low end tq with the bigger t/b.

ditch the c&l. no one will touch those for a tune. get a better. one. you need heads before you start wasting all the money. you need an intake upper and lower manifold to support the 70mm tb or go with 65.....regardless get somethign better than stock. those mods wont do you squat without upgrading heads and intake.

If you have a stock intake manifold you are going to create problems by having a 70mm T-body on there, because the stock intake manifold opening is smaller, which is going to create turbulance as it tries to funnel down to the manifold opening.

The C&L intake thing you got for $206, you are going to run into problems if you are planning on using that in conjunction with that Mac intake (I'll include pictures to show you what I mean cause I use the same thing basically) but the only thing you would end up keeping with the Mac intake is the elbow and filter. You wouldn't use the elbow after the meter that goes to the throttle body, sincethe C&L one is much nicer.

As for no one wanting to tune the C&L, I've heard that before. What I would do is call whoever it is you plan on tuning your car and ask them what they prefer (C&L or PMAS/Pro-M or Granatelli or whatever). The people that tuned my car absolutely hate the EEC-IV computer system and told me to buy an aftermarket standalone system instead if I plan on going further.

Horsepower gain probably wouldn't be noticeable until you did some other mods on there. What I would do is throw some headers an H or X pipe and a catback exhaust on there and some lowergears. Then save up your money and do all the motor stuff in one shot. Plus it can give you time to plan out what you are going to do for your final vision of what you want.

Ok so here's the pictures I was talking about. This is what it looks like, the elbow is too short to reach the mass air meter, so what I did was take some exhuast tip and had a buddy of mine weld it on there for me.

And then here it is with the piece welded on there.

I have a C&L 76mm kit on my 94. It is basically the same design as the Fox body kit, just fit to the different manifold. Mine worked great, but I don't know is the Foxes run into trouble. I did disconnect the battery cables to reset the memory and felt a resonable difference. Check out the C&L website, they provide a dyno chart: http://www.cnlperformance.com/76mm_86-93.html
As mentioned, intake work compliments exhaust work. My opinion: Add a CAI, then mufflers of choice with aH-Pipe, then a T.B if you want to.
