Default turn signals

does the hazard light switch have to be wired for the turn signals to work? I replaced all fuses, checked the bulbs and it still wont flash.

Wrong, it runs thru there. I broke a wire loose inthe switch whenI had my dash out and my signals wouldn't work...hooked the wire back up and it worked. You have to have the hazard switch in place for the signals to work.

is it one of the boxes in the trunk? I dont understand why simply switching out tail lights would stop the turn signals. Well, does a dead battery cause anything?

Well I know that one of my flashers, the turn signal flasher was bad and I swapped it with the hazzards and the turn signals worked, but no more hazards....

A dead battery is not going to allow your turn signals to work at all. Time for a 3G upgrade.

My flashers are under the dash near the steering wheel.

With a bad flasher, you signals will come one, but wont flash right? Without the hazard in, you wont get anything. What was funny is my hazards worked, but the turnsiganls did...just because of one wire.

When my flasher went out for the turn signals I got nothing. Funny how some just stay on and mine just totally stopped working.
