Getting ready to throw my shift kit in this weekend. Going to be running Royal Purple tranny fluid. How many quarts duz the tranny take???

Make sure you pay close attention while installing your new shift kit, especially the little ball bearings. Follow the instructions to the teeth if not then you will be back asking for help.
I have a shift kit and so far so good. I had mine over a year and no problems. I have transgo shift kit.

oh its an auto.....i dunno if 2.7 is right then. i'm sure someone will have the answer though

Thanks man and ya my gpa is a mechanic and we have our own shop, so no problems there. I also hear that running a synthetic tranny fluid isnt good in these older AOD. Any one use the RP and have any problems?
