I think you should get rid of the car before you put it in its grave...

its obvious that you are one of those.... oblivious mustang owners

the ones that cant even latch their own hood....
Are you saying he should sell it to someone with a tool box????

Compared to domestics....Yes. This is why Ford and Chrysler are going in the sh!tter, and Toyota makes more cars and trucks in America then they do.

Some peole are coming across poorly- no names- but strictly domestic is not the same as a "mustang fanboy."
It is so frustruating watching people like OP, think they need an import to fix the fact they have a ragged out car. There is no merit to that mentality/logic. Like I said. please suppport the Domestic companies. A ragged out Fox and a new STI is auseless comparo.

Would you consider Toyota as domestic??? Think twice before you answer.

i kinda agree with adder cus i will take a car like yours and in a few weeks fix it, cus im passionate about my cars. and i understand not everyone can do bodywork but it sounds like u havent done anythin to the car. its not really hard to change a tranny and its not hard to wet sand and reprimer whatever is coming of and find a new hood that stays on and yeah gas milage is and issue im not driving my gt much these days cus i just cant afford to. my suggestion is that u need a second car. get a 88-91 civic 4 door car 35mpg! cheap and easy to work on and not hard to maker fast(er) with a si motor or a ajdm zc motor that cost like $600 and makes 125hp over the 90hp d15b2 turd. u need to keep a project car and have a daily driver car. a project should never be a daily driver! if u dont work on cars and dont want to spend money to have a nice car then maybe you should sell it however u wont get 3k for the car till u fix it
u want a better handling car then maybe a newer mustang is a better option. but car payments on a sti will kill u! and then u will be required to have full coverage insurance...do some research and u might find ur saving money right now

All new cars are disposables. Toyota sells more cars because americans are suckers for warranties, and they are cheap.CHEAP. THERE IS NO REASON, WITH GMS NEW WARRANTY THAT YOU CANT BUY A NEW AMERICAN CAR.
