What does everyone use/prefer for aftermarket guages, mechanical or electrical? Pros and cons of each. I have a chance to get some mechanical oil press. and temp guages at a good price. I would be putting them in a driver side pillar pod, I would imagine the electricals are an easier install. Any opinions, guages are sunpro white face.
+1 i have all electrical autometerguages except my mechanicalboost guage. I have heard some horror stories of some people running some mechanical oil/fuel guages inside the car in the A pillar. Its a little more expensive but well worth it
i have a sunpro tach and the dyno guy said that my sunpro was more accurate by as much as 250 rpm at some spots! but thats a tach, i have no other oil/water/ boost (i wish)... just tach
