I dont know if i want to paint it black or ford blue. My dad says ford blue is nice but i think its an old school thing. The engine bay will be black and the car is bright atlantic blue. Open to suggestions also. Give some advise or some pics would be really great. Thanks

After i gutted and smoothed the engine bay i went with black because my car is black. Pick whatever color you think will go nice with engine mods and body color, they dont have to necessarily be the same color.

I'd say if your car is blue then so should your engine bay! It looks loke a cheap paint job when underhood doesn't match the exterior. Paint the engine block black, because once everything is bolted on you don't see much of it anyhow.

My motor is painted silver with duplicolor 1200 degree paint. It looks pretty good.

i would make sure that it was a light color that way it makes it easier to spot leaks if you were to have ne.

I just don't think white would look good, lol... I would go with Ford blue or with black..

Factory is painting them gray these days
but old school and stands out is the "Ford Engine Blue" ........ FTW

im not sayin white lol. i wouldnt think that would look good either. its when you paint it black n u notice a leak its hard to find where its comin from.

I personally would go with Ford blue, and the reaso I said black was becasue it is a universal color, but may also make the motor and engine bay hotter as well.

Cast aluminum looks awesome, Looks soooooo clean, and up to date, blue is a mistake and black only if you don't want to see it, look at my photos under....A rare 1 for your viewing pleasure....all the accessorys are painted with it too, and the air cleaner, it will give you a good idea of the color.
