Default How's your tire size working?

I am about to order some rear tires for my stang. I havent had it long, and so far i havent really driven it more than aorund the block. But I am now to the point where it is done....so.....here's the deal. It has 265/50 15's in the back. I can only find one tire from tre rack that is even this size, so my question is, if I went with a smaller tire, would my traction still be as good? Also, these are only T speed rated, and factory mustangs came with Z speed rated tires.....Can I get some input on your tire sizes and traction issues?

Ok, so, Ive narrowed it down to two choices, the nitto NT555R drag radials, or the BFG g-force t/a Drag Radials. The BFG's are about 10 dollars more. Any experience with these tires? And I still wanna know if I can keep my quads

it depends on the backspacing...i've heard that it did fit and some say it rubbed...personally...i'd build the suspension(another way to gain traction) and ditch the quads!

well,i can always take the quads off temporarily, im plannin on buyin some welds when i get some money free'dup. you know how that goes. I can always add the backspacing on those and put the quads back on, buildin suspension is kinda expensive lol. I got this car like, middle of the summer, and everything is good on it now. The two biggest things were tranny rebuild and axles, here's a pic of it when i got it a couple months ago lol. I think ive made some improvements...
