Ok Ive been hearing good and bad about alot of superchargers so I thought I wold just stick with Vortech . ButI now came across another deal Its a Paxton
heres the listing

Is Paxton a good company ? I cant remember which supercharger usually blows up ? and is the price decent? I thought so

yea Paxton is a company n yea paxton is a pretty damn good s/c. u can get a brand new from www.houstonperformance.com for 1795. i dont know what C.U.N.D.N. RACING has done to the supercharger, but thats what u can get a brand new one for.

oh by the way if u want more boost out of a s/c just change the pulley. n powerdyne is the s/c known for blowing up. i know from experience.

How much boost can I run safly on a stock motor . I plan on putting on trick flo's top end kit, MSD ignition nothing to the bottom end just yet.

So I new Vortech was a good company and now I no Paxtonis goodtoo .

What would people choose between the 2.
I was planing on goin with the vortech high boost kit 8-10psi.

86 5.0L

PRO50SC is running 12psi on a stock block with stock heads and pulling 12secs

Texas5.0

I would also look at procharger. Thats what I am planning on.
