RE: Radio
it wont turn off because you have your constant wired to the power wire (yellow to red) which is wrong. if it wont go on with red to red and yellow to yellow check the fuse in the deck and the fuse in the fuse panel. if those are blown then check your grounding. if not then, let me know.

RE: Radio
if you hook up red to red and yellow to yellow, make sure black to black is hooked up... Also, like mentioned before, check fuses, it sounds like you have a blown switched power fuse in the fuse panel.

and there are two different grounds by the way. amp ground and deck to ground. my wiring was really hacked up so you might not need to worry about amp to ground its probably already hooked up through the harness.

RE: Radio
ok gonna make this simple. hook up red to red. (this only turns on the deck when the key is at the on position) hook up yellow to yellow(this is your memory or constant) hook up your deck to ground, anythign metal works. now after you do this, check your fuses, they should all be good. turn the key to on position. all fuses should still be good. now with the key at on position the deck should light up. if not then try and put a cd in, if it takes it in or if you hit eject and it spits it out that means your red to red is working. now either your ground is bad or your fuse is blown.
also is your battery disconnected while your doing this? i've fried a deck before not doing this, it does take much to melt/ blow up a capacitor or link inside the deck.
